The .CPY files are created by the WinMe system restore function.

The malware files are trojan downloaders that masquerade as system files so get picked
up and protected by the operating system. Housecall can't delete the .CPY files because
they are "locked" by the operating system.

To delete the .CPY files you have to turn off system restore, which will destroy
all your restore points.

Here is the procedure to disable System Restore:
1. Close all open programs.
2. Right-click My Computer on the Windows desktop, and then click Properties.
3. Click the Performance tab.
4. Click File System.
5. Click the Troubleshooting tab.
6. select the box in Disable System Restore, click OK, and then click Close.
7. Click Yes to restart. Be sure the system restarts as this disables the System
Restore feature and deletes all contents of the C:\_RESTORE folder.

Once system restore is disabled, then run your Housecall scan and let it finish cleaning.
If it says you are completely clean, then go through the above process and uncheck
Disable System Restore, and reboot again.

Note that any back-up files or images created since you got infected will also carry
the trojans.
