SURegCreateKey Failed! Drive A not communicating Saturday, April 11, 2009 at 11:09 am Windows Me Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Ryan (2 messages posted) I've read through the posts on this site regarding what to do when you get the error SURegCreateKey Failed! and followed the steps to download the boot disk to a floppy from another computer.... but when I insert and startup the computer again, it does the same as before. The computer is not recognizing my A drive. No light, no noise from the drive. What are my options given this situation? I just got a new laptop and want to transfer my pictures from my old computer over to the new one. I could care less about making the old one work... just want my data off it.
