System Restore is missing from System Tools. I'm running Windows ME. I can get to
System Restore through the Help Section. Does anyone Know how to resolve this problem?
Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Try using system restore, if it is working and you can access it. Restore to point
before the prroblem started.

Went back day by day as far as the point where I used the System Restore Fix from

With system restore now corrupted, I would suggest
turning off the feature. Then reboot. That will allow
you to run some scans for Malware. If the computer
has no other noticeable problems after a good Malware
cleaning, I would not worry about using system restore
anymore. It has a reputation of not working more then
working.

Most likely you just "drag and dropped" the link to System Restore in the System
Tools menu list to some other place. Or you may have deleted it.
Search through all of the Start menu branches and see if you can find it. Then
left click on it and "drag and drop" it to the correct System Tools branch. Or you
can left click on it and Copy/Paste a new copy back into the System Tools list.
If you can not find it, then create a new one.
Start - Settings - Taskbar and Start Menu - Advanced tab - Advanced button, expand
the Programs branch and select the Accessories item, then double click the System
Tools icon. This will open a "folder" of the System Tools links. If the System Restore
link is not there, right click the page and select
"New" and then "Shortcut". This will allow you to create a new shortcut to System
Restore.
Now use Browse button to navigate to the C:\Windows\SYSTEM\RESTORE
folder and select the RSTRUI.EXE program. You can go back into the new entry
and RENAME it to System Restore and then select an Icon for it. When you exit out,
System Restore should be in the System Tools list again.
