I am tempted to also believe that AOL is using this as just another attempt to get
all CompuServe users to switch to AOL.
They've obviously ignored CompuServe since they purchased it (other than taking our
monthly payments of course) and have failed to even upgrade or develop a new version.
They just don't seem to "get it" that a lot of long-time CompuSeve users don't want
to switch to AOL.
I live in an area where high-speed interent will take awhile to get to us, so we're
still forced to use dial-up.
Since I have both personal and business e-mail addresses with CompuServe, I'm very
reluctant to change since I'd probably have to spend a LOT of time changing then
with all my contacts.
Of course we all could go with another company and keep the CompuServe account and
access it over the internet, but that's not what I think I'm paying for.
I guess the big question is if it's really true that CompuServe won't work with Vista,
or is AOL just using this as another is a long series of attempts to get us all to
switch.......
