Dual Boot W/XP Blue Screen Error

I have Vista Home Premium installed on my master HD, and want to install XP Pro as
a dual boot with XP.
When I try to boot up with the XP full-install disc, it loads to the point of "starting
windows" and then, at this point, it goes to a blue error screen.
It says; 'A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage
to your computer.", it also gives the following codes...*stop: 0X0000007B (0XF78DA63C,
0XC0000034, 0X00000000, 0X00000000)
Any ideas how to fix this so I can install XP?
I have a slave drive in the computer, and both HD's are SATA drives.
Thanks in advance for the help.
