Control Panel Shortcut Sunday, June 28, 2009 at 7:05 pm Windows Vista Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Bobcat (254 messages posted) Can anyone tell me where the cpl file or main file is in vista that opens the control panel. I would like to create a shortcut to it on the desktop but I can't find the option anywhere. Going to the start menu and trying to create it from there doesn't let me.
