Can't connect to network Thursday, July 2, 2009 at 4:26 pm Windows Vista Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by kait (33 messages posted) My son just got a new computer, a Gateway. We have a modem and Netgear router, but we can't get the computer to recognize the network. We have a Netgear wireless adapter that had worked just fine on the old computer. We can see my neighbor's unsecured network, but not our secure one, so we can't even try to connect to it. This is my first experience with Vista, so I have no idea where to start. I've only worked with XP before. Any ideas on how we can fix this?
