screen goes blank/black Thursday, July 30, 2009 at 3:49 am Windows Vista Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Werner Stapela (1 messages posted) at starting, windows boots up but once it gets to "Log in", and after putting in the username, the screen goes blank/black, save for the mouse cursor. i can get to task manager etc via cntrl>alt>del and then choosing the option task manager, so i suspect it's not the monitor. i've also tried starting bin secure mode, without any joy. help!?!
