I would like to be able to access an external hard drive via VPN. The laptop I use is on Vista. Is it possible to connect to the external hard drive via VPN? I set up a VPN and when I try to connect I get " 198.XXX.X.X is not set up to establish a connection on port "pptp" with this computer". The 198.XXX.X.X is the EHD's address. This external drive is a WD product that came with a product called "MioNet" that allows you to connect remotely so I know it can be done. Some other information I read suggested that I might have to reformat the drive to enable it to act as a server. I'm having a hell of a time and any good advice would be greatly appreciated.
