Two things to do then: 1. Run IE8 without add-ons (right-click on the Icon and select that option). If that cures it then the problem is an IE add-on. 2. Run full scans with the following two (free and reasonably aggressive) malware scanners (accept all deletions offered): Malwarebytes Superantispyware
