Another possibility:

Open Help & Support, type 'DNS', and select option 3 'Change TCP & IP Settings'. Click on Option 1 'Open network connections'.

Right-click your network connection, and select 'Properties'. Highlight 'Internet Protocol Version 4' and click on 'Properties'.

In the BOTTOM half of the window, select 'Use the following DNS server addresses'.

For the 'Preferred DNS Server', enter 4.2.2.2.

For the 'Alternate DNS Server', enter 4.2.2.3.

I don't know why this works, or who these IP addresses belong to, but this solution has been handed down through generations of forum contributors, as long as I can remember!
