Constant Beeping Through Speakers? Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at 4:20 pm Windows Vista Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by sj022698 (55 messages posted) I have Vista Home and I have a constant beeping every 20 seconds or so and it jumps up on the mixer as well. It is IDT High Def. Codec. It's on the "speakers and dual headphones"...I've gone through all the sounds under the properties...It is labels as "windows default (modified)" It sounds similar (but not exact) as the "device connect" and device connect which the .wav on them is windows hardware insert and windows hardward remove. I've looked at my processes running to just see if it's something in the background but not sure what many of them are???
