Loud Fan Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at 6:27 am Windows Vista Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by dapdon (2 messages posted) I have an HP 8000n, when I boot it up the fan runs very fast and is really loud, when I put into sleep mode and start up again it's fine, the fan runs at normal speed and is quiet. Anyone know what would cause this?
