Yes, you should be concerned To protect your wireless connection itself, make sure it is encrypted (WPA is best) To stop malware getting into your PC in the first place, Avast or AVG, plus SpywareBlaster. To scan (weekly) for malware that Avast or AVG don't pick up (no one scanner picks up everything), MalwareBytes and SuperAntispyware. To clean up the places where malware lurks, CCleaner (don't bother with Registry "cleaning", but you might find the Cookie tool useful) To avoid much of the malware problem in the first place, use Firefox instead of IE. All the above are free downloads, and "tried and tested". Do this quickly, before too many infections take hold.
