Running the Upgrade is easy enough, but on Laptop you will have problems with some of the Drivers the Microsoft OS doesn't install. Things like Wireless, and Wired Network Cards, Modems, Video Display, Battery Power Settings, Sound, Touch Pad, and other proprietary Hardware the Laptop may Have.

I say try it though, the worse that can happen is you get frustrated, and have to take it in to get finished. You never learn how to do this stuff without trying.
