When I start Vista I get a window that asks if I want to Allow or Decline the start
up of REMIND.EXE

I found a thread here from 3 years ago that seems to have worked to remove it from
XP.

I have never figured out how to get in DOS to RUN/regedit.
How would I do this in Vista?

In XP this is how it is done;
1. Click Start
2. Click Run
3. Enter regedit (and click OK)
4. Click 'My Computer' then File -> Export and save a copy of the registry with a
name of your choice
5. Press the F3 key and in the Find box type remind.exe
(you will probably find the call in the folder HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current
Version\Run or similar)
6. Once you have located the registry file that contains your program path as stated
in the thread subject, left click on the file and delete it.
7. Close the registry.

This is the thread link...

I would be very greatful to anyone that can help, this isn't the first time I have
tried to get into the registry.
I've spent hours trying to get some help with this.
 Thank's, @DaveMarshall
