The only problem that Malwarebytes found, after 5 hours on the scan, was a single instance of a Packer.T file, which was deleted. So I did the uninstall on the Comodo, and it is definitely faster. I'm going back to AVG, I think, as I don't recall too many problems with it. Thank you folks for your help. I am once again indebted to the folks here at Annoyances!
