Disable Folder Type Templates, system-wide Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at 11:52 pm Windows Vista Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by senselocke (1 messages posted) How do I set up a standard list of "Sort By" attributes, then apply that to every single folder on the system, then DISABLE Vista from applying it's absolutely stupid "folder type template" ever again? How do I kill "Group By" and "Stack By" (idiotic features, those) entirely? Reason being, I don't want to have to right-click, select "sort by", select "more", and add/remove what types I want, for every single folder on the system. Is there a simple way to disable this whole mess?
