Not sure what you are asking. If you use Firefox as your browser you may want to
remove said .NET Framework Assistant after reading the problems some folk have with
it. In Firefox click Tools >Add ons >Extensions. Click on .NET Framework Assistant
you should see a button to disable and/or uninstall it. Hope this is what you were
looking for.

Or, as the original installation of this MS update does not provide an uninstall
button in Firefox, you might want to go to this page:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=cecc62dc-96a7-4657-af91-6383ba034eab
There, you can download the MS update to the update that updates the inability to
remove the extension from Firefox that does not have an uninstall button until you
run the update to the update. (No, I shall not parse that...).
Close FF, run the update that you have downloaded. Warning: After running the Update,
you may receive a warning from the MS updater that the installation failed. If that
does happen, just reboot the computer; when you then reopen FF, you should see the
uninstall button that was not (oops, I was just about to ramble on yet again, sigh.)
Click on Uninstall, restart FF, no more extension.
