Adobe AIR and Windows Media Sharing

Further to a recent post, I have now discovered that it is Windows Media Sharing that is opening Adobe AIR at startup. However, I'm always getting a dialogue box coming up that says the 'installation of this application is damaged.' Even if I uninstall and reinstall Adobe AIR I get the same message. Funny thing is, the application does seem to work - sharing media from my pc to my tv. Has anyone got a suggestion as to how I can stop this annoying message coming up. Thanks.

This I believe is an Adobe AIR problem and I would like to know why you installed
the AIR software to start with. THis is not a common thing to have on your machine.
It can affect the way JAVA acts and a lot more. So to start with DId yo indeed install
this and for what other software was it a required asset?

Good question Charlie! When I unistall Adobe AIR I get a message at startup that says "This application requires a version of Adobe AIR which cannot be found." (It doesn't say which application!) When I install it, I get an error message saying "This version is damaged." I can't win. I didn't install it purposefully, but had linked it in my mind to either BBC iPlayer or Windows Media Sharing so I can view photos on my TV through a connected wireless bridge. Through elimination, I find it is indeed BBC iPlayer that seems to demand Adobe AIR at startup so for the moment I've disabled it. Cheers, Phil
