Your hard drive is probably not plugged firmly into your IDE cables, or the IDE cable
is not plugged firmly into the mother board.
Loose components/cables are the number one issue with people upgrading their motherboard
and should be the first place you start before attempting anything else.
Physically remove the IDE cables from your hard drive AND motherboard. Plug the IDE
cables FIRST into your drives, and lastly into your mother board.
or if it is a portable reseat the drive a few times
This is most likely the problem. It is not a problem with formatting or your Windows
installation because your computer cannot detect a hard drive (and thus halted).
