missing items n comtrol panel Sunday, November 18, 2001 at 1:00 pm Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Hyperkit (3 messages posted) In tweaking XP with Tweakui and with X-teq, somehow al lmajor items in the control panel got lost like DIsplay, System, etc. If I create a ner User they are all there but I lose all my settings which I don't want. I have undone all the tweaks, but also messed about making sure I could open my Win98 Start menu of all my progs as XP wouldn't give me access to them. The same Control panel view is in All Users, and Default Users yet not in the new one. Anyone got a fix for this apart from Clean install as I have reinstalled to no effect.
