Mine says the same thing and I have no problems with my PC. You stated in the other thread that you are not running Anti-Virus software. From the symptoms you are describing...maybe you have a virus? You can check your system at www.symantec.com. The number of color's you can display depends on your video card's capabilities (driver). Most have 256, 16, 24, and 32 bit options though so, I agree, it is rather strange to just have 16 and 32.
