I have been experiencing a similar problem with random reboots of my PC under WinXP
Professional (build 2505). I have a Pentium II 400 with 512M of RAM. Usually the
reboot (which behaves like a hardware reset) occurs when I click on something with
the mouse. However on one occasion I had left the PC and when I came back it had
spontaneously rebooted. This is very frustrating. Are there any diagnostic tools
available under XP that might help indicating where the problem lies (e.g. what driver
might be the cause)?
Thanks & regards,
Mannie
