Sorry to hear that you are having problems. You can go to a DOS shell (it's not
really DOS, but DOS is typically not a good thing) by using from "Start", selected
"Run" and then type "cmd". You can add "cmd" to your start menu.
I have tried a couple of old games that were DOS based, and to be honest, they worked
fine under XP. If you have a large DOS collection, most of your stuff should work
fine under XP, that's one of the reasons it's taken Microsoft so long to finally
get rid of DOS underneath Windows. That was by far the BIGGEST technical problem
with Windows 95 - ME.
