Don't know if one thing had anything to do with the other, but I have been running WinME for over 4 months with no problems on a Athlon 1.4 gz with 256 SDRAM. Installed WINXP yesterday and left the machine running. When I turn it off and turn it back on today it crashed, and when it did logon it would just shut down and reboot. I took the Ram and moved it to the other slot and it seems to have corrected the problem. Anyone else having this problem? Ram seems to be working fine, it appears the slot went dead. Wierd
