You will need to create a new boot ini file on your c drive. Without knowing exactly
what your setup is I can't say what it will say. But my setup is two partitions on
1 drive with windows 98 stored in c:\ windows and windows xp in the second partition
which is D:\winxp My boot ini file reads as below and you may only have to make changes
as to the actual directory it is installed in if you are using you two partitions
as I am.
[boot loader]
timeout=30
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINXP
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINXP="Microsoft windows XP Professional" /fastdetect
C:\="Microsoft Windows"
You can create a boot ini file in notepad but don't forget to save it as boot.ini
Multidisk and rdisk abobe will both be 0 if it is only one hard drive in your computer;
partition 2 is only if win xp is on partition 2 and finallly you will replace the
\winxp with the directory name where you installed windows xp not sure what the default
was, probably windows. LOL
