I found a fix for this problem...open regedit and go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Installer\Products\{some
huge number here}\SourceList\ ....You should see a couple of values listed, probably
the filename ISScript.msi as well as a path...delete these values, and all your Windows
Installer problems should disappear...it worked on my XP Pro upgrade over Win2K Pro.
