Strange, I have a similar problem.. I've been running XP for a couple of months, 
and today my system just froze, and for a while it wouldnt start up, the power on 
test failed and the m/board beeped saying that no RAM was detected.. I switched the 
RAM in the two slots around and the beeping stopped, but I cant boot back into Windows 
because it reboots on startup
