Working set and Page files Monday, March 28, 2005 at 11:05 am Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by ericchan (25 messages posted) in order to get more free pages in the memory,the windows working set manager will trim the pages of working set of one process. i want to ask whether the trimed pages is put into page files. I test the workingset and page files of the process of windows media player. i run more other applications foregournd,the working set for the process will decrease, however the page files keep constant. any one tell me reasons?
