Actually I have shut XP firewall off for both including zone alarm and the wireless router as well, Nothing ever shows up under my network places though. I will try the domain/workgroup at the "safe" end this time. My IS guy got me re-connected to the domain and when I shared with him what I was trying to do he didn't have much for me except to try setting up a secondary DNS with the IP address of my home PC.
