Weird beep beep? Friday, May 27, 2005 at 12:39 am Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by tsubasa (3 messages posted) Hey everyone, I hope some lovely person could help me figure something out~ A couple weeks ago, my computer started doing this weird beeping thing. It'll beep randomly, and whenever it does, it freezes the cursor. I have absolutely no clue whatsoever of what it may be. I tried numerous different virus scanners to see if it was a virus, but they all came up with nothing. I checked to see which programs are currently running, and they're all normal.. programs that have been running on my computer ever since I got it. So I really don't know where this beeping came from! If it's any help, I've recorded the beep noise: http://tsubaddicted.net/weirdbeep.mp3 I have no clue what it is, but it's driving me absolutely insane!
