Changing users at screensaver login

We have multiple users on a domained XP Pro machine. Through AD, it is forced to display a screensaver at 2 hrs of inactivity and it is password protected. When a different user wants to use that machine after the screensaver is invoked, the user places his/her username and pw in the fields and clicks 'OK'. So far, so good. But then the machine apparently reboots. At the very least, the new user is forced to again log in with his/her username and pw. Is there a setting we need to change to fix this so the new user only has to log in once? (We have a work-around already since this only occurs first thing in the morning: directing the last user of the day before to log off before leaving for the day. But this other user, she's being a pill and wants it 'fixed'.) TIA
