Inet Attacks Friday, May 27, 2005 at 10:06 am Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Ian Clark (66 messages posted) Having expended a considerable amount of time trying to build a bastian of invincibility in terms of security I then decided to road test my system in the most treacherous of waters - the chat room. I, for better or worse, can usually precipitate events and on this night after some careful precipitation I was invaded with endless chat boxes and 'BUZZ' bongs (in the style of Yahoo Pager). It seemed my system failed the test. How can some person unleash such an attack on my system when I have a multi-layered protection from system infestation?
