Hi all, I have re-installed a fresh copy of Windows XP on my PC, and installed SP2 afterwards. I am also running Mcafee Anti-virus (trial version), Spyware Doctor, and Linksys Broadband router with firewall capabilities. My problem is, when I am using Internet Explorer 6, in any web page with a link which opens a new IE window, when I click the link, I am unable to get the new window, and in the bottom left corner, it just said "pop-up window blocked". Even if I right-click and choose "Open in New Window", the same thing happened. For a link which links to another page in the same window, there is no problem. I have tried all of the following and the problem still happens: Turn off Pop-up Blocker in IE-> Tools; Disable Mcafee; Close Spyware Doctor; Close Windows XP firewall. I think the pop-up blocker in IE is to turn off those advertising pop-ups ... but why it prohibits me from linking to another page in a new window? I have also set the custom security level in IE Internet Options ... same problem ... Can anyone help? With lots of thanks, Del Piero
