Also, run this program and see if clearing the Index.dat files helps. Download CCleaner Before running it, click Options and specify any Cookies you don't want removed. Do not use the Issues section, if you're unfamiliar with registry cleaners. Then download FireFox and give it a try. IE is garbage, really.
