I've had 3 people ask me about codecs in the past couple of days. Saying that WMP can not download correct codec - EVEN tho it is already installed and has been working fine. My father is in town staying here and I've been playing a lot of movies on front room computer that has a channel out to TV/stereo. Today it was fine, but minutes ago I loaded some movies and NOW I'm experiencing this codec problem with movies that have previously played perfectly. Does anyone know of some new bug that has suddenly appeared regarding WMP and codecs? If I remember correctly (and the 3 people telling me knew what they were talking about on their movies) this has occured with DiVX 3x and Xvid once....
