For whatever reason, I am unable to use System Restore. It doesn't matter if I create a restore point myself, or if the system creates one. When I select System Restore, it shuts down my computer, restarts it, and then gives me a message that it was unable to restore for that point in time. I have sufficient memory allocated for this, and I have checked that System Restore is not disabled. It worked fine about a year ago, when I needed to use it, but for the past 6-8 months, nada. Any and all suggestions on how to fix this will be truly appreciated. For the record, I'm using WinXP - SP2.
