Problem with DVD launcher Saturday, August 19, 2006 at 11:16 am Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Linda (2 messages posted) hi there. Newbie here. I'm haveing a problem with dvd launcher. Whenever I put in a disc of any type, it doesn't launch, and everything locks up. I usually have to shut everything down, that's when I get the alert box saying DVD launcher is shutting down, then not responding. Any idea what's going on? I recently tried to clean some stuff up, but I'm afraid I did something I shouldn't have.
