Hi there,
Well, since I have XP PRO (5 years) I have a booting problem that nobody has been
able to solve so far.
Now, after some years, I try again, maybe there's more experience around and some
of you can help.
When I switch my desktop on, I get all the disk controls etc. in DOS, then, a blank
screen for 27 sec., finally the Windows XP image page that introduces to all the
windows booting process.
The 27 sec. are a constant since day one, in the past I tried Bootvis and did whatever
was possible to reduce the booting time, but no changes.
I also formatted my PC, no change.
All the services are perfectly matching my needs, therefore the ones I do not need
are disabled.
My machine is clean, no spywares, no malware, no virus or so, the registry is clean.
After 5 years the bloody 27 sec. are there and still, do not know why.
Connection is not the problem, I was on cable before, on ADSL now, same story.
I still hope somebody can help me to understand, I never lose my hope :)
Thank you guys.
