Scroll up to safe mode and press enter. Once in safe mode, go to My Computer, right click the C: drive, select Properties, click the Tools tab, click on Check volume for errors, check the box to automatically fix errors, and click on Start. Reboot the PC and during boot up it will fix any errors. If that doesn't fix it then reboot and press F8 again. This time scroll to Last Known Good Configuration and press enter.
