re: Configuring destop settings Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at 7:42 pm Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by cogs (173 messages posted) under documents and settings/all users/desktop, is what all the users on a single computer will see on their desktop. in the same path, except with all users/start menu/programs/startup, is what will start automatically for all the users on the same comp. you can create multiple user accounts, and put the shortcuts on the desktop or startup folder. the permissions can be changed from the admin account through control panel/user accounts.
