Hello again,
Thanks for the response. After digging a little bit deeper I think these may be
Windows error reporting folders. Some are empty but some have 1 or 2 files in them
that look something like this
(some application).exe.hdmp
(some application).exe.mdmp
Some have a text document in the folder marked appcompat.
I just dont want to send something away that I might need. Any other help might
get you chocolate chip cookies or apple pie.
