No Sound Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at 5:58 am Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Brandon L. Pratt (2 messages posted) I have no sound on my PC except for that annoying default beep. I look under device manager and everything says that it is working properly. I even reinstalled all drivers and still nothing. The only fishy things I can find are an error code I occasionaly get that says, "No Active Mixer Devices Available" and under Services.Msc there is no spot for Windows Audio (One message thread to start this and it should work). I am running XP on an Intel P4 2.4 with 1 ghz Ram. The Audio is built into the Mother board. HELP!!!!
