glenn,

It is customary to post a Hijack this log only when asked for. This serves two purposes.

1. no one wants to sort through all THAT unless they are experienced in interpreting
the Log File, and advising users on what should, or should not, be there. Or what
can or cannot be removed from the start-up.

2 The only folks who will ask you to Post this log file are those who specialize
in Hijack This or are Malware removal specialists.

below is a copy of a HJT Log to show you how iit should look when properly saved,
or when being properly formatted to display here.

Yes you can disable (not remove) Empowering technology and turn it on just when you
want it.Also you can disable the rest of soft like CLI,Sound manager (RTHDCPL)...
that being started up on boot in your system tray.
You can do all that by clicking on the Start --> Run --> type msconfig and than in
Startup tab disable these programs.

I see some things that appear to be possible problems, however, I could probably
do you more harm than good
