When I was recording to it, it would fail half way through the disk. Then I accidentally deleted Nero and couldn't get it back and tried using some Windows way to write to a disk and that worked even less. So I don't think I can make a disk. Also, once I tried to make a boot disk CD but that didn't work for some reason and that was when the CD was working properly. All I have is 6 a: drive 1.44 disks I made once that may or may not work. Do you have any howto link on reseating memory modules? I don't even know what they look like.
