If it has not installed the required device driver and is still defaulting to the Microsoft one, you need to kinda force it to take the one you want. In device manager, right-click on the device and select Update Driver. As you go through the dialogs, do not let Windows make any of the decisions for you and it will eventually ask you to choose a driver from a list of suitable drivers that it knows about from the .inf files stored on the PC. Choose the appropriate driver and click OK to allow Windows to install it. Reboot and look in device manager again, to make sure that it is using the newly-defined driver. Hope this helps. Cheers.
