First it kept restarting 4 times in a row. Then I got the famous BLUE SCREEN! Mind you I only have the one memory module in the computer. It said "A Problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer, etc. etc." And showed the same error I always got with the other error screen. So I started in Safe Mode like it told me. Then I removed a lot of programs thinking I gotta get more memory: Registry Medic; Everest; CCleaner; Belarc Advisor; Event Log Explorer; PdfEdit 995; Avast Antivirus; Comodo Firewall Pro; Comodo Safesurf. When I rebooted I had no internet connection. I need that! So I did a restore that I had made after I removed the other memory module and all is back. My question is this. Do you see any program I removed that would take away my internet connection? Because I think I'll just remove one program at a time and do a restore each time. And I'll leave the Comodo and Avast. Then I'll order the 1 gig memory module and see what happens after that. What a day it's been.
