I'm not sure that this is the answer you are looking for though ... there is no direct replacement for chkdsk/autochk as far as I know. There are some good tools for data recovery (which was the context of my posting there) and two things I can think of quickly are NTFS Recovery and File Recovery. Cheers. Spexx.
