I would buy a new 320 gig drive, Install Windows on it, making your 30 gig partition. When Windows is Installed you then can turn the approx 270 gigs of unallocated space on the New Drive as the Second Partition. Then Install your 300 gig drive as a Slave, and you can safely try to recover your loses to the working 270 Partition on the Master. When done you can format the slave, and use it a a redundant Backup Drive.
